How to order a corded bay track |
|||
| 1.) Add up all the sections of your bay to get the total
length of your bay. 2.) Decide which colour track you would like and in the first box that corresponds with it select the length that is nearest above the total length of your bay. e.g. If the total length of your bay is 218cm then select "Up to 225cm". 3.) In the next box select the colour of track you would like. 4.) In the next box enter the actual total length of your bay. e.g. 218cm. (The track itself very rarely finishes up the same as the bay length that you enter, it is usually smaller once the bends and brackets have been allowed for but is required to select the right price bracket.) 5.) On the next row, select how you would like the track corded. Cording from one side is included in the original price, select which side you would like the pull cord on; Left hand side (LHS) or right hand side (RHS). If you would like the track to be corded from both ends, the extra cost will be displayed next to the option. 6.) On the next row select if you would like optional weights or cord tensioners. As standard, corded tracks are supplied with a loop of cord approximately 150cm long. You can choose from a free hanging cord weight that simply hangs from the loop in the cord, a cord tensioner which can be fitted to the wall or skirting and holds the cords tight or no cord weight at all. If you have chosen to have cording from both ends then select 2 x hanging weights or 2 x cord tensioners. 7.) On the next 2 rows you can enter the number of bends and gradual curves your track will need. Most bay windows require just angle bends but may require a gradual curve or even a combination of the two. e.g. This window has 2 x angle bends.e.g. This window has 6 x angle bends including
2 x reverse bends.e.g. This window has 2 x angle bends and 1 x
gradual curve.8.) Once all selections have beeen made, click the 'Buy' button. 9.) Finally, complete the bay window enquiry form to send all the measurements of your bay to us. N.B. Unless informed otherwise we will assume that the measurements provided are the extent of your bay window and the track will be made within those measurements allowing the appropriate allowance for the brackets. |
